Looking for something more concentrated than a CBD oil or e-liquid? CBD crumble is built for that. It breaks apart easily, giving you full control over exactly how much you're adding, whether that's to a dab rig, stirred into oils and cooking fats, or worked into a vape liquid for extra strength. Already have a routine and want more? A little crumble goes a long way.

If you're comparing CBD crumble UK suppliers, this collection is extracted and manufactured entirely in-house at our own UK facility. That gives us tighter control over every stage, from extraction to how we set each batch, so what you're picking up is a genuinely distinct product with no rebranded formulas.

What Is CBD Crumble?

CBD crumble is a solid, dry cannabis concentrate made by extracting cannabinoids from hemp and then winterising the CBD extract to remove plant waxes, lipids and chlorophyll. What's left behind is a pale, brittle material that breaks apart easily. It carries a far higher cannabinoid concentration by weight than a standard CBD oil or e-liquid, which is why it's usually sold and measured in small quantities.

How to Use CBD Crumble?

Crumble's concentration means you handle it differently than an oil or e-liquid, and there are more than one way to work it into your routine. The best method depends on how you take it and how much control you want over the dose.

Vaporising or Dabbing

If you want the most direct route from tub to effect, this is it. A dab rig or e-nail applies direct, high heat to the concentrate, converting and vaporising it almost instantly, so decarboxylation and vaporisation happen in the same step rather than as separate stages. Load a small piece onto the heated nail or coil, and it's ready straight away.

Adding to Vape Liquid

Crumbling a small amount into an existing vape liquid boosts its strength without changing the flavour much. The concentrate dissolves into the liquid as it warms inside the tank, so you usually add it in small increments rather than all at once.

Cooking and Baking

Crumble needs decarboxylating before it goes into food, since raw cannabinoids are largely inactive in their acidic form. This means heating it gently on its own, around 105–120°C for roughly 30–45 minutes. Once activated, it works best mixed into a warm fat source like butter, coconut oil or olive oil, so the CBD has time to bind properly, since it’s fat-soluble.

Keep the temperature well under 160–180°C (320–350°F) throughout, and avoid prolonged direct heat during active cooking or baking afterwards, as pushing past that destroys the active compounds and terpenes you're trying to preserve.

Blending into Oils and Tinctures

Once decarboxylated, crumble can be melted into a carrier oil to strengthen an existing tincture or make a new one. Gentle, low heat is enough to dissolve it fully; stirring it into a cold oil or dressing won't work, since the concentrate needs heat to break down and disperse evenly.

CBD Crumble vs Badder vs Wax

All three are extraction products from the same starting process, and the difference comes down to how much heat and agitation is applied while purging. Badder is whipped at a warmer temperature, giving it a soft, cake-batter-like consistency. Wax sits between the two: less purged and stickier than crumble, but not whipped like badder.

Crumble is purged the longest and cooled the slowest, which drives off the most moisture and leaves the driest, most brittle texture of the three. None of this changes the cannabinoid content on its own; that depends on the extraction batch and starting hemp, not the final texture.

Frequently Asked Questions

CBD crumble and hash share a similarly dry, crumbly texture, but that's about it. Hash is made by separating trichomes from cannabis flower, while CBD crumble comes from solvent extraction and winterisation of hemp, which strips out plant waxes and lipids. The two also differ in cannabinoid focus, since crumble is formulated around CBD over THC, whereas hash is.
Badder gets a softer, whipped texture from being agitated at a warmer temperature during processing, while crumble is purged longer and cooled without agitation. Potency depends more on the extraction batch and starting hemp than on which texture it sets into, so one isn't reliably stronger than the other. Comparing the Certificate of Analysis for each product is the only reliable way to check cannabinoid content.
CBD crumble doesn't produce a high, since CBD isn't psychoactive in the way THC is. UK-compliant products are capped at 1mg of controlled cannabinoids per container, keeping THC levels well below anything that could cause intoxication. Full-spectrum crumble can contain trace cannabinoids alongside CBD, but not at a level that produces psychoactive effects.
